Switching method between D gear and S gear in the Lamando: Simply pull the gear lever to switch between D gear and S gear. Pulling the S gear down one notch switches to D gear, while pulling the D gear up one notch switches to S gear. The S gear increases engine speed and torque for acceleration, whereas the D gear continuously upshifts to achieve lower speed, lower torque, and higher power. The higher the power, the faster the speed. The Lamando is a compact car with body dimensions of 4461mm in length, 1826mm in width, and 1425mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2656mm. This model is equipped with two engines: a low-power version 1.4L turbocharged engine and a high-power version 1.4L turbocharged engine.

Shifting between D and S modes in the Lamando is quite simple—you can do it without pressing the brake while driving. The gear lever is usually located on the center console, marked with 'D' and 'S' letters. To switch from D (normal driving mode) to S (sport mode), gently pull the lever backward, and it will automatically click into the S position. To switch back from S to D, just gently pull backward or push it to the D position. In S mode, the car feels more powerful, with quicker acceleration response for smoother overtaking, but it runs at higher RPMs and consumes more fuel. So, using D mode in city driving is more economical. Always keep both hands steady to avoid distractions—safety first. Over time, you’ll get used to the smooth shifting feel.

For safety reasons, I pay special attention to the steps when shifting gears in my Lamando. First, ensure the vehicle is either in motion or completely stopped, then operate the gear lever gently: move it from D to S in one smooth motion until you hear a 'click' sound indicating it's engaged. The S mode is suitable for high-speed overtaking or climbing hills, delivering more dynamic power feedback, but prolonged use can increase engine load and fuel consumption. To prolong component lifespan, it's recommended to switch to S only when necessary and return to D for everyday driving. Avoid shifting during sharp turns or on bumpy roads to prevent loss of control—cultivating safe habits is crucial.

Shifting gears in the Lamando is super cool! Just pull the gear lever directly to the S position, and it immediately switches to sport mode—throttle response becomes sharper, acceleration is swift and exhilarating. To switch back to normal driving, simply pull it to the D position. The S mode is incredibly powerful for racing, but fuel consumption soars, making the D mode more economical for daily use. The operation is simple—no need to press the brake—allowing you to switch anytime on the road, delivering an ultra-fun and engaging driving experience.
