How to Steer When the Vehicle Skids?
1 Answers
When the front of the car does not turn as intended by the driver and continues to push forward, simply release the accelerator and gently tap the brake to bring the car back on the correct track. Excessive braking before entering a turn, causing the vehicle's load to shift forward, combined with high speed, late steering, and an urgent attempt to correct direction leading to a skid, requires releasing the brake pedal. In case of a skid caused by emergency braking, immediately stop braking and steer in the direction of the rear-wheel skid, but the speed and extent of steering must be moderate. For a skid caused by high speed and sharp steering, release the accelerator to reduce speed, and at the same time, gently steer in the direction of the skid based on the vehicle's condition.
