How to Steer When the Rear of the Car Deviates to the Right?

When the vehicle moves to the point where the lower edge of the left rearview mirror touches the control line, turn the steering wheel fully to the right. After turning fully to the right, check the left rearview mirror. When the corner of the parking space appears in the left rearview mirror, straighten the steering wheel. After straightening the steering wheel, reverse until the left front door handle is over the left parking line, then turn the steering wheel fully to the right again. When the lower edge of the left rearview mirror housing is over the front line of the parking space, the rear of the car should be 30 cm away. At this point, you can stop the car.

I've been driving for over twenty years and have encountered many instances of the car's tail veering to the right, especially when driving rear-wheel-drive vehicles on wet and slippery roads during rainy days. Once I feel the tail sliding to the right, my mantra is to immediately steer the wheel to the left—gently and smoothly, avoiding sharp or excessive turns to prevent complete loss of control. At the same time, ease off the throttle slightly or maintain a steady speed, and avoid sudden braking, which can cause further skidding. Last year, I faced this issue on the highway due to unbalanced tire pressure. Regular maintenance checks on tire pressure and tread depth can prevent major troubles. Safety first—I recommend a quick pre-drive inspection every time, especially before long trips or in bad weather. Developing good habits can significantly reduce risks.

As a young car enthusiast who loves drifting with modified cars, tail swing to the right is quite common during drifts. The solution is to swiftly steer to the left—be agile but not excessive—while coordinating throttle control to regain traction. The key is to stay calm; panicking and slamming the brakes can worsen the loss of control. Modern cars come with ESP (Electronic Stability Program) to assist, but it's not foolproof, so extra caution is needed in rainy conditions. Tire choice also matters—good tires perform more steadily on low-traction surfaces. I recommend using sport tires to prevent issues, along with avoiding speeding.

As a female driver who commutes regularly, I have experienced the car tail drifting to the right multiple times, especially on the smooth floor of the underground garage in my residential area. My approach is to immediately steer slightly to the left and then gently press the accelerator to stabilize the speed, avoiding sharp turns. Preventive measures are even more important, such as maintaining balanced tire pressure and checking the suspension system. When driving in the rain, it's essential to slow down and frequently use the interior rearview mirror to observe the movements of vehicles behind. I recommend that beginners practice a few times in an empty space to familiarize themselves with the vehicle's inertia, which makes driving much safer.

What are the reasons for the soft brake feeling in the Sagitar that makes it seem like it can't stop?

The brake, as a critical component of safe driving, should be given special attention by every driver. Before each drive, you can test the working condition of the brake pedal. Before starting the engine, the brake pedal will be very hard; after the engine is normally started, the brake pedal will sink slightly. The reasons for a soft brake feeling include the following: 1. Mixed brake fluid: Using different brands of brake fluid together can reduce braking performance. 2. Air in the brake fluid: The presence of air in the brake fluid that has not been bled out. 3. Oil leakage or poor sealing: Oil leakage in the master cylinder or wheel cylinders, or poor sealing. 4. Damaged outer packaging: Damage to the external casing of the brake lines.

What to Do When Car Headlight Covers Turn Yellow?

Methods for dealing with yellowed car headlight covers: 1. Wipe with a soft cloth: Whether cleaning the car or the headlight covers, always use a soft cloth to avoid scratching the paint or the covers. 2. Regular cleaning: You can gently wipe the covers with soapy water or cleaning wax using a soft cloth to remove stains. Soapy water is mild and non-corrosive, so it won’t harm the headlights. Alternatively, using a professional car cleaner is even better, as it not only removes dirt but also makes the headlights less prone to dust accumulation. 3. Polish and maintain: First, apply a polishing compound, then use a soft cloth to apply protective wax (car wax). This will not only enhance the gloss and brightness of the headlights but also protect the car’s paint.
