Use the car key to unlock the door, insert the key and turn it to the ignition position, the display screen will light up. Press the brake pedal, release the handbrake, and shift the gear to the N (neutral) position. Press the brake, turn the key to ignite or press the start button to complete the startup, then shift the gear to D (drive).
Starting the NETA electric car is quite straightforward. I've been driving this car for a while now. Usually, I first unlock the doors with the remote key or use the mobile app for remote unlocking. After sitting in the driver's seat, I place the key near the induction area to ensure it's detected. Then, it's essential to firmly press the brake pedal—this step cannot be skipped, and I often remind my novice friends about it. With the brake steadily pressed, I press the start button on the center console, typically a round button with a power symbol. The car will emit a prompt sound, and the dashboard will display a 'Ready' sign, indicating it's set. At this point, you can select the gear to D (Drive) or R (Reverse) to get ready to go. I also make it a habit to check the battery level; if it's below 20%, I charge it before driving to avoid issues on the road. The entire process is well-designed for safety—the car won't start if the key isn't inside or if the brake isn't pressed, preventing accidents. Once you're used to it, getting from entering the car to driving off takes just a few seconds, much more convenient than gasoline cars.
