To start an engine, follow these steps: 1. Place the gear in P or N position; 2. Turn the key to the ON position and hold for about 10 seconds; 3. After the self-check is normal, you can start the engine. The engine ignition system consists of a power source, sensors, ECU, ignition coil, distributor, and spark plugs. The function of the engine ignition system is to provide the spark plugs with high-voltage electricity of sufficient energy at the appropriate moment according to the engine's working state and sequence, generating sparks between the electrodes to ensure the ignition of the mixed gas entering the combustion chamber, enabling the engine to perform work.
