How to start a Roewe i5 with a dead battery?

Check if the car has a power leakage issue and resolve it. Turn the key to the ignition position, press the clutch, release the handbrake, shift to gear 1 or 2, keep pressing the clutch, start pushing the car slowly while releasing the clutch and pressing the accelerator. Connect the negative terminal of the jumper cable to the negative terminal of the car, and the other end to the negative terminal of the other car. Similarly, connect the positive terminal to the positive terminal of the car, and the other end to the positive terminal of the other car. First, have a sturdy tow rope and securely fasten the front and rear of both cars. Then, you can start the towing process to jump-start the car, ensuring a slow and steady start.
I've got experience with this. Last month, my own Roewe i5 had the same issue. The easiest way is to ask a friend with a car to help jump-start it. Open the hood, the red cover is the positive terminal, connect it to the positive terminal of the rescue car; the black one is the negative terminal, connect it to a metal part of the other car's body (never connect it directly to the negative terminal post, as it can cause sparks). Start the other car and rev the engine a bit, wait for three minutes before starting your car. After starting, don't turn it off immediately; drive for at least half an hour to charge the battery. Keeping a set of jumper cables in the car is crucial—in an emergency, you can just borrow a car to get it done. If the battery frequently dies, it's likely at the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced ASAP, otherwise you might get stranded anytime.
