How to Start a NIO Vehicle?

The NIO ES8 does not have a designated start button. The vehicle system automatically activates upon entering the cabin. Simply shift gears to start driving. Details are as follows: 1. Configuration: The NIO ES8 only features P, D, and R gears. The gear control lever is conveniently located on the left side of the console's mechanical buttons. Below the central control screen, the ES8 retains only a few mechanical buttons. However, if certain functions without mechanical buttons seem inconvenient, the voice control system can be used with high recognition accuracy. The upper knob controls volume, while the lower section includes driving mode switch, hazard warning light, and door lock switch. 2. Hidden N Gear: The NIO ES8 allows access to a hidden N gear. Swipe left once from the default navigation main interface on the central control screen to view the vehicle settings main interface. Select "All Vehicle Settings," then navigate to the driving subsection to find special modes, including tire change mode and neutral mode. With the vehicle in P gear, press the brake pedal and perform the touchscreen operation to select neutral mode. After operation, the central control screen displays simple and clear instructions, and the gear indicator P on the dashboard disappears, indicating the vehicle is in N gear.
