How to Start a Long-Term Parked Motorcycle?

When starting, do not throttle, and after several unsuccessful attempts, slightly apply throttle. Check if the automatic choke is stuck in the closed position, meaning it remains extended and does not retract. Inspect the engine's compression. If the valves are leaking or the engine is severely worn, it will be difficult to start when cold, and engine repair may be necessary. Park the motorcycle indoors or in a warmer location. Before starting, do not turn the key; instead, press the kick starter a few times, then turn the key and use the kick starter. When starting the motorcycle, it is necessary to close the choke valve.
