I've encountered the same situation before! There are actually several ways to start a Kia when the key fob battery dies. First, pry open the key fob casing to retrieve the mechanical key blade. There's usually a small cover on the door handle - just pop it open to use the mechanical key. After entering the driver's seat, don't immediately press the start button. You'll need to locate the induction area: most models have a key symbol mark below the steering wheel. Press the key fob casing against this spot while depressing the brake pedal and pressing the start button. Last time it took me two tries to succeed - make sure the key fob stays firmly against the induction point. If this doesn't work, check if the key icon appears on the dashboard - that might mean you need to replace the battery immediately. I recommend keeping a spare CR2032 coin cell battery in your car so you can replace it yourself next time!

What does the yellow filled marking on the road mean?

The yellow filled marking on the road indicates an obstacle marking, meaning there is an immovable obstacle near the marking, so please drive carefully. Double yellow lines are warning and caution lines, serving as a prohibition against crossing boundaries, with an obstacle in the middle and a cross indicating it cannot be moved. Types of road traffic markings: 1. Lines: Solid or dashed lines marked on the road surface, curbs, or vertical surfaces. 2. Character markings: Text, numbers, and various graphic symbols marked on the road surface. 3. Raised pavement markers: Fixed on the road surface, these raised marking blocks serve as road markings, used on highways or other roads to mark centerlines, lane dividers, edge lines, as well as curves, entrance/exit ramps, diversion markings, road narrowing, and road obstacles. 4. Delineators: Indicate the direction of the road and the boundaries of the roadway, continuously and symmetrically placed along the left and right sides of the road in the direction of travel. Based on installation conditions, delineators can be divided into two types: embedded in the road surface and attached.

What Does the Three-Year Warranty for New Cars Cover?

New car three-year warranty covers issues with the engine, transmission, drivetrain, chassis, speedometer, and air conditioning components. If these components have quality problems, they will be covered under warranty, provided that regular maintenance is performed at an authorized 4S shop as per the maintenance manual. Some easily worn-out parts such as tires, brakes, and lights can also be replaced at 4S shops, but the cost of the parts will be charged. Warranty conditions: 1. The car parts must not be damaged due to human factors but due to quality issues, in which case the 4S shop is responsible for free replacement; 2. The car must not be privately modified or cause imbalance in the driving system, as quality problems caused by modifications will not be covered by the 4S shop warranty; 3. For easily worn-out parts such as tires, brakes, and lights, the cost of the parts will be charged if they are damaged.

What is the fuel tank capacity of the Jetta in liters?

The 2022 Jetta models include the Jetta VS5 and Jetta VS7. The Jetta VS5 has a fuel tank capacity of 51 liters across all variants. All models are equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and come with either a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT). All variants feature front-wheel drive. The Jetta VS7 also has a fuel tank capacity of 51 liters across all variants. Similarly, all models are powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine and offer either a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT). All variants are front-wheel drive. In the same class as the Jetta VS5, the Changan CS75 2022 model has a fuel tank capacity of 58 liters, the Haval Chulian 2021 model has a 55-liter tank, and the Trumpchi GS3 2021 model has a 50-liter tank. For the Jetta VS7's class, the Song PLUS 2020 model has a 60-liter tank, and the Haoyue 2022 model also has a 60-liter tank. To check the remaining fuel, drivers can observe the fuel gauge on the right side of the dashboard, marked with E (empty) and F (full). When the needle is close to E, it indicates low fuel, while near F means the tank is full. Fuel tank maintenance includes: Draining accumulated water and sediment from the tank and checking for leaks at fuel line connections and valves. For tanks with air and vapor valves, ensure the vent holes are clear. Keep the fuel filler inlet screen intact to prevent debris from entering the tank and clogging the fuel lines. Ensure the sealing gasket on the fuel cap is in good condition to prevent fuel spillage while driving.

What are the symptoms of a faulty torque converter?

Symptoms of a faulty torque converter: 1. Overheating of the torque converter oil; 2. Insufficient oil supply pressure in the torque converter; 3. Oil leakage from the torque converter; 4. The machine moves at too low a speed or lacks power; 5. Abnormal noises from inside during operation. A torque converter is a hydraulic component composed of a pump wheel, turbine, and guide wheel, installed between the engine and the transmission. It uses hydraulic oil as the working medium to transmit torque, change torque, shift gears, and act as a clutch. Functions of the torque converter: 1. It can automatically and continuously adjust the turbine speed according to load changes, improving the vehicle's passing ability; 2. The torque converter connects the pump wheel and turbine through liquid, reducing the impact load of the engine on the transmission system and extending the lifespan of the transmission system.
