Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, then slightly lift the wiper control lever on the right side of the steering wheel to spray the windshield washer fluid. It's best to always keep spare washer fluid in your car; you can buy it at gas station convenience stores. I prefer the kind with oil-film removal function - works especially well during rainy days. Never wipe a dirty windshield dry - sand particles can scratch the glass. Always spray fluid first before wiping.
