How to spray windshield washer fluid and which button to use?

Open the front hood of the car and locate an easily accessible water tank that can be filled. You can fill it with dedicated cleaning fluid, or add a few drops of dish soap and then pour in water until full. On the right side of the steering wheel, pull the wiper lever inward for three seconds to spray the cleaning fluid.
I often use this feature while driving, especially on rainy days or when there's a lot of dust, to ensure clear visibility. This button is usually located on the control stalk to the right of the steering wheel, near the wiper. Specifically, you either push it forward or gently pull the end of the stalk to spray the cleaning fluid, and the wipers will automatically activate for a few wipes to clean the glass better. The position may vary slightly depending on the car model, but most vehicles operate this way. Remember not to press the wrong button—the one that just turns the wipers on/off is toggled by moving the stalk left or right, while the spray action is a dedicated motion. Don’t spray too frequently after one use, as it wastes water and isn’t good for the pump. Also, regularly check under the hood for the cleaning fluid reservoir with a blue cap, open it, and fill it up with standard windshield washer fluid. In winter, choose an antifreeze type to prevent the nozzles from freezing. Before long trips, check the fluid level to avoid the hassle of not being able to spray. Also, spray occasionally to keep the nozzles clear and prevent clogging from dirt.
