How to Solve the Sunroof Rattling Issue in Leiling?

The sunroof sealing strip, when exposed to prolonged rain or direct sunlight, is prone to aging. Rubber conditioner can temporarily restore the performance of the sealing strip. The plastic decorative strip and the sunroof are secured at three points: front, middle, and rear. Pull downward in the direction of the car's front for the front point, and push inward for the other two points. Make slight adjustments to the sealing strip of the sunroof glass. Pay attention to observe whether the sunroof glass naturally tilts upward or sinks when the screws are loosened.
My Leiling's sunroof started squeaking after a bit over a year, especially noticeable when going over speed bumps. Through my own troubleshooting, I found it was mainly due to the aging and hardening of the sealing rubber strip, which gets worse after prolonged sun exposure in summer. I tried thoroughly cleaning the dust and sand from the rubber strip gaps with a wet cloth and then spraying some rubber protectant, which significantly reduced the noise. If the tracks are deformed, you'll need to visit the dealership to have the headliner removed and the track screws adjusted—something you can't do yourself. Try to avoid parking in direct sunlight; I bought a sunshade later, which really helps extend the rubber strip's lifespan. For resonance noises caused by loose screws, placing a thin layer of sponge in the screw holes can also help alleviate the issue.
