How to Solve Fogging When Using Air Conditioning?

In cases of light fogging, you can appropriately open both windows to allow air circulation. Utilize the air conditioning's cooling effect to remove fog by reducing air humidity, which can eliminate window fogging. Spraying a layer of water on the windshield can form an effective protective film, thereby preventing water vapor condensation.
I often encounter foggy windows when using the air conditioning while driving, especially on rainy or humid days. Once on the highway, the windows suddenly fogged up, severely blurring my vision—it was extremely dangerous. I immediately switched to the external circulation mode, increased the fan speed directed at the windshield, and lowered the AC temperature to help dehumidify. Usually, the fog clears within minutes. If the fog is severe, pressing the defog button directly works even better. It's also important not to overcrowd the car interior to ensure proper air circulation and to clean the filters regularly to prevent dust buildup. Large temperature differences can cause condensation on the glass, so adjust the temperature gradually, not too quickly. Develop the habit of opening the windows for a short while before turning on the AC to reduce moisture buildup and ensure safe driving.
