How to Set Volvo Seat Memory?
2 Answers
Volvo seat memory is set as follows: Adjust the seat, door mirrors, and head-up display to the desired position. Press and release the M button, the indicator light on the button will illuminate. Within three seconds, press 1 (memory button) or 2 (memory button to store settings). After the position is stored to the selected memory button, an audible signal will sound and the indicator light inside the M button will turn off. If no memory button is pressed within three seconds, the M button will turn off and no storage will be performed. You must readjust the seat and then set a new memory position.
I've looked into this, and it's really convenient. Think about it - every time someone else drives, you have to spend ages adjusting the seat. With memory function, it's a breeze. First, adjust the seat, backrest, and both side mirrors to your perfect driving position - whatever feels most comfortable for you. Then check carefully on the door panel, usually near the window controls, where you'll find a row of small buttons labeled M, 1, 2, 3. Press and hold the M button until you hear a beep or see an indicator light, then press your chosen number button to store the position. Next time you switch back, just press and hold your stored number button - the seat and mirrors will automatically return to your saved positions. No more fiddling around when someone else gets in the car, and it even remembers your mirror settings too.
