How to Set Up Window Closing When Locking MG Cars?

Enable the hidden SEC function, then check the options for automatic window closing when locking and automatic anti-theft function. When using the remote to lock the car, any unclosed windows will automatically roll up immediately, but the sunroof will not close automatically. The car will automatically lock after parking and leaving. Note that it takes 10 seconds after leaving before the car locks, not immediately. Automatic locking does not include automatic window closing. The car will only auto-lock when you start the vehicle, park, and then leave. Opening the door after parking and then leaving will not trigger auto-locking.
I've been driving my MG car for several years, and setting up the auto window closing when locking is really simple. Generally, you start the vehicle first, then find the settings menu on the central control screen, click on vehicle settings, and look for the window control options. If you have a model with one-touch window lift function, like the MG ZS, you can directly check the 'Close all windows when locking' option. I've tried this method - normally after parking, pressing the lock button automatically raises the windows. It's best to make sure all doors are properly closed before operation to avoid malfunctions. Sometimes low battery power can affect the system, so I check it monthly to ensure everything works properly. Last time it rained, I didn't notice a window gap, but thankfully this feature prevented the interior from getting wet. If you have the user manual handy, checking the specific model's chapter would be more reliable.
