The Passat's dashboard settings are quite straightforward. I usually start by pressing the VIEW button on the left side of the steering wheel to switch display modes. The dashboard will then show different layouts, such as Classic, Sport, or Full-Screen Navigation mode. I prefer the Navigation mode for easier map viewing while driving. Then, press the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel to confirm, and you can also customize the displayed content like fuel consumption, remaining range, or music info. In the central control screen, find the Vehicle Settings menu and enter the Digital Cockpit option to change the theme color. I recently switched from blue to amber for a more comfortable look. If you need to reset maintenance reminders or similar functions, you'll need to access the hidden menu: turn off the engine, hold the 0.0 button at the lower right corner of the dashboard, and then start the car. It's best to perform these operations when parked, as fiddling with them while driving can be distracting—especially avoid doing so on highways.
