How to Set Up the Auto Start-Stop Function in Highlander?
1 Answers
The setup method for the Highlander's auto start-stop function is as follows: 1. The Highlander's start-stop switch (Auto Stop and Start System switch) is located on the left side of the steering wheel. Press the Stop and Start Cancel button (press again to re-enable the system) to disable the Stop and Start system, and the instrument panel will display accordingly. 2. When the auto start-stop system is still active, do not place the vehicle in a poorly ventilated area. The engine will automatically restart. 3. When the windows fog up, press the cancel button, and then the auto start-stop system will no longer function. 4. If the gear lever is moved from neutral to another gear without depressing the clutch pedal, the engine will not restart, and the buzzer will sound. In this case, return the gear lever to neutral.
