Press the button down to the first position and release it when the window reaches the desired position. Press slightly harder to the second position, and the window will automatically lower. Pull the switch up to the first position and hold it until the window moves to the desired position. Pull the button harder to reach the second position. Simply hold the lock button on the key for about 3 seconds, and all four windows will synchronously rise; all four windows will synchronously lower.
I recently set up the one-touch window closing feature for my Skoda Octavia, and the process was quite simple. First, sit in the car, close all doors, windows, and the trunk, and ensure the vehicle is turned off. Then take out the key, press and hold the lock button without releasing it for about five to ten seconds until the windows start to rise slowly. After releasing the key, it will automatically learn this action, and in the future, you only need to briefly press the lock button to close all windows with one touch. This feature is well-designed to prevent accidental operations, such as suddenly closing the windows and pinching your hand at a gas station or car wash—I find it particularly practical. Additionally, if it doesn’t work, it might be because the key battery is dead; just replace it with a new one and try again. Overall, the one-touch window closing improves convenience and saves time from manually operating the windows. It’s especially handy in daily driving, like quickly closing the windows on rainy days without worrying about soaking the interior. Just remember to check if your car model supports this feature—most standard Skoda Octavias come with it.
