Press the button firmly to the second detent position, at which point the window will automatically lower completely. Pull the button up firmly to reach the second detent, and the window will open fully. Hold down the lock button for 3 seconds to automatically raise all four windows. Press and hold the unlock button for more than 3 seconds to lower all windows.

Setting up the one-touch power window for the Equinox is actually quite simple. Based on my ten years of driving experience, here's how: First, make sure the window is fully raised. Then, press and hold the window-up button on the driver's side door to the second detent position for about five to eight seconds. You'll hear a click or see the indicator light flash, indicating the setup is successful. For everyday use, just lightly press the button, and the window will automatically close completely, saving you from holding it down. If it doesn't work, it might be due to button sticking or memory loss—just try a few more times. Don't forget to check that the window tracks aren't obstructed. It's convenient and safe to operate during daily parking. This feature is super practical, especially when driving in the rain or on the highway, allowing you to quickly close the windows and protect the interior from getting wet.

I've been driving the Equinox for three years, and just last month I set up the one-touch window lift—super easy! All you need to do is sit in the car, press and hold the button while the ignition is on, wait until the window is fully raised, and then continue holding for about ten more seconds. The system will memorize that point. After setup, just one press automatically raises the window—no fumbling around on rainy days, super convenient. If it fails, check that the battery voltage isn't too low or try restarting the car. This feature is great for lazy folks, saves time in daily use, and keeps dust out. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Setting the one-touch window lift can sometimes encounter minor issues. I've experienced a few instances where the setting wasn't successful, possibly due to the button not being pressed firmly enough or excessive window resistance. It's recommended to press and hold the button for ten seconds to reset the memory position. If the issue persists, check if the fuse is blown or visit a 4S dealership for inspection. This feature helps prevent the risk of forgetting to close the windows, and once set up properly, it offers great convenience.
