I just went through this with my car last week. The loop recording setup is actually quite straightforward. First, power on and enter the main menu, find the gear-shaped settings icon and press it, then you'll see a loop recording option. I recommend choosing 3-minute segments as it's more reasonable - too short and you'll have too many files to manage, too long and important footage might get overwritten. Make sure to enable the loop overwrite function so it automatically deletes the oldest videos when the card is full. Don't forget to keep the cigarette lighter power connected during setup, and always remember to save before exiting. Once I forgot to save and had to do it all over again. Later I also found the default resolution was too high causing lag, so I adjusted it down to 1080P. Finally, remember to regularly format the memory card - I do it at the beginning of each month to avoid sudden failures.
