Audi integrates the operation of rearview mirrors on the control buttons located on the front left door. Rotate the knob to the 10 o'clock position to adjust the front and rear mirrors, allowing for up, down, left, and right adjustments of the mirror surface. Rotate the knob to the 2 o'clock position to adjust the front and rear mirrors, enabling up, down, left, and right adjustments of the mirror surface. Rotate the knob to the 4 o'clock position to activate the rearview mirror heating function, which operates when the temperature is below 21 degrees. Rotate the knob to the 8 o'clock position to fold the rearview mirrors. After completing the operation, turn the knob back to the 12 o'clock position to return to the neutral position, and the mirrors will automatically unfold.
I also wondered about this when I first used the Audi Q5. There's a vehicle settings menu in the center console screen. Tap into it and look for the external lighting or comfort settings option, where you'll usually find a side mirror setting - just set it to auto-fold. I set the auto-folding mirrors in the comfort features.
