Press the brake pedal of the Corolla. Press the one-touch start button of the Corolla; the dashboard lighting up indicates that the vehicle's power is fully connected. Press and hold the door lock button of the Corolla for 10 seconds.
Setting the automatic door lock for the Corolla is actually quite simple. As someone who has driven a Corolla for five years, I'm very familiar with this. First, get in the car without pressing the brake pedal, then press the start button twice to power up the dashboard. Next, locate the settings menu on the central control screen, select the door lock option in the vehicle settings, and you'll find the 'speed-sensitive auto lock' feature. After enabling it, the doors will automatically lock when the speed exceeds 15-20 km/h. Newer models also allow you to set the auto-unlock feature when the engine is turned off, making it more convenient to open the doors automatically when shifting to P gear. Keep in mind that the menu location may vary depending on the model year. For my 2018 model, it can be set using the steering wheel buttons. If you can't find it, you can always visit the dealership, where the technician can set it up in a minute using a diagnostic computer, but this feature is easy enough to do on your own.
