How to Set Tire Pressure Storage in MMI?
2 Answers
First, locate the CAR menu button on the MMI control panel inside the vehicle. On the car settings function that pops up on the central control screen, find the vehicle maintenance and inspection information option on the interface. First, locate the tire pressure monitoring system, then proceed to set the tire pressure storage. There is a tire pressure reset button in front of the gear shift. Press and hold it for five seconds to reset, then use the multifunction steering wheel to select the tire pressure and store it to complete the setup.
Last time I set up the tire pressure monitoring, I found the steps quite simple. First, start the vehicle, then find the vehicle settings option in the MMI system's main menu, click into it and select the tire option. At this point, the system will display the current tire pressure data for all four wheels. After confirming that all values are normal, simply click the button to store the tire pressure. Remember to operate in a cold tire state, meaning the vehicle has been parked for at least three hours or driven no more than two kilometers, as this ensures the most accurate setting. Once stored, the system will remember this baseline value, and it will alert you if the tire pressure drops by about 10% below this value. I recommend resetting it every season or before long trips, as tires are crucial for driving safety.
