How to set the tire pressure display for the 2021 Leiling?

2021 Leiling tire pressure display setting method is as follows: Press and hold the vehicle MENU button for more than three seconds to enter the settings. Press and hold the ADJ button for more than three seconds and maintain, the tire pressure value will change. Release when the desired value is reached, then press and hold the MENU button for more than three seconds. After hearing a beep, you can exit the menu to complete the setup. There are three common types of tire pressure monitoring methods: Direct tire pressure monitoring: Direct tire pressure monitoring devices use pressure sensors installed in each tire to directly measure the tire pressure. The pressure information is transmitted from inside the tire to a central receiver module via a wireless transmitter, and then the tire pressure data is displayed. When the tire pressure is too low or there is a leak, the system will automatically alert. Indirect tire pressure monitoring: When the pressure in a tire decreases, the weight of the vehicle will cause the rolling radius of that wheel to become smaller, resulting in a faster rotation speed compared to the other wheels. By comparing the differences in rotation speed between the tires, the purpose of monitoring tire pressure is achieved. Indirect tire pressure alert systems actually rely on calculating the rolling radius of the tires to monitor pressure. Introduction to the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): It combines the advantages of the two systems mentioned above. Direct sensors are installed in two diagonally opposite tires, and a four-wheel indirect system is also equipped. Compared to using only a direct system, this hybrid system can reduce costs and overcome the defect of indirect systems being unable to detect when multiple tires simultaneously have low pressure. However, it still cannot provide real-time data of the actual pressure in all four tires as a direct system does.
When I first got my 2021 Leiling, it took me some time to figure out the tire pressure display settings. The steps are actually quite simple: after starting the car, there's a scroll wheel on the right side of the steering wheel. Rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise to navigate to the vehicle settings menu, press the enter key, then use the up and down arrows to find the tire information option, and finally select the tire pressure display to confirm activation. Once set, the central screen on the dashboard will display the tire pressure values in real-time, which is very intuitive. Remember to do this when the tires are cold for more accurate readings. The recommended tire pressure is usually written in the vehicle manual or on the fuel tank cap—mine is around 2.3 bar. Developing this habit is really useful, as both overinflated and underinflated tires affect braking and fuel consumption, and also reduce the risk of blowouts. I recommend that beginners manually check their tires once a month in combination with this feature—safe driving depends on these small details.
