After turning on the car, the CLK button is used to display and set the time. Press and hold the CLK button for about 5 seconds until the time display on the screen starts flashing. Use the adjustment knob (turn left to decrease, turn right to increase) to adjust the hour first, then the minutes. After selecting the desired time, press the CLK button to confirm.

When I first bought my new Mondeo, setting the date was a bit confusing; but I got the hang of it after a few tries. Sitting in the driver's seat, start the engine but don't drive off, ensuring safety. Press the button on the lower left side of the steering wheel to bring up the dashboard menu; locate the system settings option, then use the directional keys to scroll to the time and date section. Manually entering the year, month, and day was a bit tricky—for example, I initially reversed the order, and the navigation system kept giving me errors. Later, I understood that accurate date settings help the GPS calculate travel time. I recommend checking it regularly, especially after a battery change, as it might reset; it takes just two or three minutes to complete and doesn’t affect driving normally.

As a car enthusiast, I've carefully worked on the date settings for the new Mondeo. After starting the car, simply press the settings icon in the lower left corner of the center console screen to enter the main menu, select vehicle settings, and then click on clock and date. Use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel to adjust the numerical details, such as the year, month, and day—it's quite flexible. I found that connecting via Bluetooth might automatically sync, but manual settings are better when it's unstable to ensure accurate dashboard information. It's possible that malfunctions could affect fuel level displays. Meanwhile, exploring other options on the screen, such as theme brightness, and spending some time customizing can enhance the driving experience.

Setting the date on the new Mondeo is quick: After starting the car, use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to open the menu, select System Settings, and enter the time and date adjustment section; manually input the year, month, and day, then save to complete. Remember to operate while parked to avoid distractions; check periodically to prevent system resets due to battery changes.

What do MT and AT mean respectively?

MT refers to manual transmission, while AT refers to automatic transmission. The difference between MT and AT lies in their operation methods: MT is a transmission with automatic clutch control and gear shifting function, equipped with a clutch; AT has a torque converter and does not require a clutch. Both MT and AT belong to automatic transmissions, which are gear-shifting devices that can automatically shift gears based on the vehicle's speed and engine RPM, as opposed to manual transmissions. Automatic transmissions consist of a torque converter, planetary gears, and hydraulic controls, and are categorized into: 1. Hydraulic automatic transmission; 2. Mechanical continuously variable automatic transmission; 3. Electronically controlled mechanical automatic transmission; 4. Dual-clutch automatic transmission.
