How to Self-Rescue When a Tricycle Runs Out of Battery?

Call a towing company and request towing services. If you are in or near a village, you can approach a household to discuss and negotiate borrowing a charging socket to recharge before continuing your journey. If you are on a highway or a rural path with no villages nearby, you can contact friends or relatives for assistance.
Last time when I rode my electric tricycle to the market, it suddenly ran out of power and came to a complete halt. I immediately turned it off and pushed it to a safe spot by the roadside to avoid blocking others. Upon carefully inspecting the battery connections, I found the issue was caused by loose wiring. After reinserting and tightening them, it surprisingly started up again. If that hadn't worked, I would've had to call a towing service via phone or ask passersby for help pushing it to a charging station. I usually make it a habit to carry a portable power bank for emergencies, along with some water to stay hydrated—no need to overexert yourself when pushing. Developing a routine to check battery levels is crucial; don't wait until it hits zero to act. Since that incident, I've been charging it weekly, and haven't faced the problem since—peace of mind and savings all in one.
