How to reverse for left-side parking?
1 Answers
Shift into reverse gear, look at the left side mirror, and when the rear left wheel is about to touch the corner of the parking line, immediately turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Observe the distance between the rear wheel and the left corner of the parking space. If the distance is approximately 30CM, no adjustment is needed; simply continue reversing. If the distance between the wheel and the corner is less than 30CM, turn the steering wheel back half a turn to maintain a 30CM gap. Continue reversing while monitoring the side mirror. When the car body is parallel to the side line, immediately straighten the steering wheel. If the alignment is uneven, steer towards the wider side. Look for the end line in the rearview mirror. When it aligns with the yellow line, you can stop the car.
