How to resolve the yellow warning light?

Ensure the gear lever of a manual transmission vehicle is in the neutral position. It is strictly prohibited to engage in parking behavior when the vehicle's transmission is in a forward gear (D, S, L, or with Arabic numerals, etc.) or reverse gear (R) position.
I once encountered a situation where the P gear light was on in yellow, and I was quite panicked at first, thinking the transmission was broken. Later, I learned to check the gear lever position and found that sometimes it wasn't fully engaged in P gear, or the wiring connector was loose. After restarting the engine, the light went off, but that time I found out it was due to low battery voltage causing a sensor false alarm. I suggest you first try restarting the vehicle; if you can shift gears normally, then it's a simple fix. If not, go to a professional shop for inspection immediately. Delaying transmission problems can easily lead to major failures, and in severe cases, the car may roll, which is very dangerous. Regular maintenance of transmission fluid and the electrical system is a wise choice to prevent unexpected issues. Safety first, don't be careless!
