How to resolve P0175 system too rich?

Check if low-quality fuel has been added; inspect for mechanical causes of compression leaks leading to fuel shortage. Check if there are faults in the ignition system; inspect the fuel system for malfunctions; examine the intake system for issues. Check the oxygen sensor and its wiring for faults.
I just dealt with this issue a few days ago. The P0175 code indicating a system too rich essentially means the engine is consuming too much fuel and can't 'breathe' properly. In this case, you need to check several aspects: First, inspect whether the air flow meter is dirty—if the sensor is clogged with oil sludge, it may send incorrect data. Simply remove it and spray it with a specialized cleaner. Next, check the fuel pump pressure; if the pressure relief valve is stuck and the pressure is too high, it can cause excessive fuel injection. Use a pressure gauge to measure the value at the fuel rail. The oxygen sensor also needs to be checked—if the oxygen content in the exhaust is below the standard value, it may misjudge the condition. I once encountered a leaking fuel injector; if you smell gasoline from the exhaust pipe after a cold start, that’s a clear sign. Lastly, don’t forget to inspect the carbon canister purge valve—if it’s stuck in the open position, fuel tank vapors will directly enter the engine, causing a rich condition. Go through each of these items systematically, and the problem should be resolved.
