How to Reset the Wrench Light on a Sagitar?
2 Answers
Turn off the ignition switch and shut down the engine. Press and hold the "0.0" button on the dashboard. Turn on the ignition switch while keeping the "0.0" button pressed with your left hand. Release the "0.0" button when any of the following messages appears on the dashboard display. Press the "0.0" button again to confirm (a single press is sufficient). Check if the maintenance light has been reset. If not, you must start the process from the beginning.
When the little wrench light comes on in my old Sagitar, I usually reset it myself. First, turn the key to the ignition position without starting the engine. Then, keep your eyes on the dashboard—there's a small button labeled 0.0 in the lower right corner. Press and hold it firmly for about five seconds until the screen displays a 'Reset maintenance cycle?' prompt. At this point, just press the button again to confirm. For newer models with multifunction steering wheel buttons, it’s easier to navigate the menu to find the reset option. However, I recommend pulling out the dipstick first to check the oil. If the oil is black and sticky, don’t rush to clear the warning light—get an oil change as soon as possible. I remember my neighbor’s kid delayed maintenance last time, and the engine noise sounded like a tractor. The repair costs were hefty.
