How to Reset the Trip Mileage on a 2020 Geely Emgrand?

Reset Method: Briefly press the instrument panel button to switch between the two odometer displays. When the ignition switch is in the ON position, the trip odometer can be reset at any time. The car's odometer actually consists of two meters: one is the speedometer, and the other is the odometer. The car's odometer is located directly in front. The trip mileage is the distance traveled since the last reset of the trip odometer. Additional Information: 1. Long Press to Reset: The car's trip mileage can be used to record the kilometers traveled for each trip, which is the mileage before this stage's reset. The 'trip' on the car's dashboard represents the trip mileage. If you want to start recording the mileage anew, you can long-press to reset it. 2. Display Window: The car's odometer includes two LCD digital display windows connected to the same signal source, which respectively accumulate the current trip mileage and the total mileage. The current trip mileage usually has four digits for short-term counting and can be reset. 3. Saving: The total mileage has six digits and cannot be reset. The accumulated mileage numbers on the electronic odometer are stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring data preservation even when the power is off.
My Emgrand has been running for almost three years, and I'm very familiar with resetting the trip odometer. Just look for the button with a small square symbol in the middle among the row of buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Press it once to switch the dashboard display to fuel consumption data, and press it again to reach the trip odometer interface. At this point, don't release the button—hold it down for about three seconds until you see the mileage numbers reset to zero. Remember, it's safer to do this when the car is parked. I find it super convenient to reset it after refueling to calculate fuel consumption. If holding the button doesn't work, try pressing it a few more times to switch modes. Note that the total mileage page cannot be reset—make sure you're on the interface with the wrench symbol displayed.
When I first got the car, I also puzzled over it for a while. Later I found out that adjusting the trip meter on the 2020 Emgrand is super easy. Sit in the driver's seat without starting the engine, use your left hand to feel the control area on the right side of the steering wheel, and locate the TRIP button with a rectangular symbol. Press it briefly twice to switch the display to the trip meter. When the dashboard shows TRIP A or B, simply press and hold the button. After about two seconds, you'll hear a beep and the LCD screen numbers will immediately reset to zero. I always use this to record single-trip distances before maintenance - it doesn't affect the original data in the trip computer. This feature is really practical.
