I drive a 2020 Magotan, and resetting the trip odometer on the digital instrument cluster is actually quite convenient. Using the multifunction buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, first press the menu button to navigate to the driving data page, then use the directional keys to select trip A or B. At this point, press and hold the OK button for about three seconds to reset it. Note that this operation needs to be done with the ignition on; it can also be done while driving, but it's recommended to do so on a safe stretch of road. This small feature is particularly useful for calculating single-trip fuel consumption. I reset it every time after refueling, so I can accurately know the actual mileage for that tank of fuel. Also, a reminder: the total mileage cannot be manually reset, so don't waste your time looking for that option.

A friend asked me the other day how to reset the odometer on the Magotan, so I thought I'd share the experience. After starting the car, don't rush to drive. Look at the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel—there's a menu button with an arrow. Press it to enter the settings, then navigate left or right to the driving data submenu. When you select the trip icon, a reset prompt will appear at the bottom of the screen. Just press and hold the round OK button. The design is quite user-friendly. Last time before a long trip, I reset trip B and saved a record of 187 kilometers with a fuel consumption of 7.2. If the buttons don't respond, check if you accidentally entered the tire pressure monitoring menu.
