How to reset the tire pressure warning in the TACQUA?

TACQUA tire pressure monitoring light reset method: Turn on the ignition, press and hold the SET button of the tire inflation pressure control system. The tire monitoring button is located on the black button on the front panel near the gear shift lever until the instrument indicator light comes on. The tire pressure monitoring indicator is a yellow symbol, an irregular circle with no seal on top and four small spikes at the bottom, containing an exclamation mark inside. The tire pressure monitoring indicator light indicates abnormal tire pressure. There are generally three reasons for abnormal tire pressure in the TACQUA: Abnormal tire pressure: Usually, it will trigger an alarm if the pressure is below 1.8bar or above 3.0bar. At this time, tire inspection and pressure adjustment are required. Tire pressure monitoring not reset: After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure is not reset in time, the tire pressure monitoring system will still record the original data, causing the tire pressure monitoring indicator light to come on. Simply perform a tire pressure reset at this time. Damaged tire pressure sensor: The tire pressure sensor is used to monitor tire pressure and is directly installed inside the tire, connected to the tire inflation port. If the tire pressure sensor is damaged during driving, it will also cause the tire pressure fault light to come on. For sensor damage issues, only a brand new replacement can be installed.
My Tharu had a tire pressure warning a while ago, and it took me quite some time to resolve it. First, make sure there are no leaks or punctures in the tires. Use a tire pressure gauge to check the pressure of all four tires and the spare one by one, then inflate them to the standard values indicated on the door frame. Next, turn on the ignition but don’t start the engine. On the infotainment screen, go to Vehicle Settings → Tires → SET button, press and hold for three seconds until you see a prompt, then release. For older models without a screen, use the multifunction buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to navigate to the tire pressure menu. After resetting, drive a few hundred meters for the system to calibrate automatically. I recommend checking tire pressure proactively every two months. Last week, I found the left rear tire was 0.3 bar below the standard value without triggering any warning. Here’s a tip: sudden temperature drops can easily cause false alarms, so be extra cautious in winter.
