How to Reset the Tire Pressure on the Grand Caravan?

The method to reset the tire pressure monitoring system on the Grand Caravan: First, turn on the ignition switch, then press and hold the tire pressure monitoring reset button. After hearing a "ding" sound, release the button. The tire pressure monitoring system will then store the current normal tire pressure data, automatically clear the previous data, and finally, the warning light on the dashboard will turn off, indicating the completion of the tire pressure reset. The tire pressure monitoring indicator is a yellow symbol, an irregular circle without any seal on top, with four small spikes at the bottom and an exclamation mark inside. The illumination of the tire pressure monitoring indicator indicates abnormal tire pressure. Abnormal tire pressure is generally caused by one of the following three reasons: Abnormal tire pressure: Usually, an alarm will sound if the pressure is below 1.8 bar or above 3.0 bar. In this case, the tires need to be checked and the pressure adjusted. Tire pressure monitoring not reset: After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure reset is not performed promptly, the tire pressure monitoring system will still record the previous data, causing the tire pressure monitoring indicator to light up. Simply performing a tire pressure reset will resolve this issue. Damaged tire pressure sensor: The tire pressure sensor, which is used to monitor the tire pressure, is directly installed inside the tire and connected to the tire inflation valve. If the tire pressure sensor is damaged during driving, it can also cause the tire pressure warning light to illuminate. For sensor damage issues, the only solution is to replace it with a new component.
I always dread seeing yellow warning lights on my dashboard. Last time when my Grand Caravan's tire pressure alert came on, it really freaked me out. Actually, resetting it is quite simple: First, start the engine but don't drive. Use the left steering wheel button to navigate to the vehicle information menu, find the tire pressure monitoring option and long-press the OK button. The dashboard will then display a tire pressure calibration prompt - just drive for about 20 minutes normally. Make sure to drive on dry, flat roads at a speed between 40-80 km/h, which is optimal. The system will automatically relearn the tire pressure data during this process, and that annoying little yellow light will disappear after reset. Remember to check that all four tires' actual pressure are within the standard range marked on the fuel filler cap before performing this operation.
