How to Reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring Alarm After Changing Tires?
1 Answers
After changing tires, the steps to reset the tire pressure monitoring alarm are as follows: 1. Park the car, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. 2. Power on the car but do not start the engine. 3. Simultaneously press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 5 seconds until you hear two short honks (the sound is not very loud). 4. Proceed to reset each tire in the following order: left front, right front, right rear, left rear. 5. First, reset the left front tire: remove the valve cap and continuously deflate (or inflate) the tire until you hear a short honk, indicating the tire is successfully reset. Deflation may take 10 to 20 seconds. If no honk is heard, continue deflating. 6. Then, follow the same method and the above order to reset the other three tires. 7. After the last tire is reset, the car will immediately emit two short honks. At this point, the tire pressure reset is complete.
