How to reset the oil light on Peugeot 408?

Turn off the ignition switch. Press and hold the trip meter reset button on the instrument cluster, then turn on the ignition switch while keeping the button pressed. When the display shows 0000.0, release the button. At this point, the wrench indicator light on the instrument cluster display indicating maintenance operation should turn off.
Last year after changing the oil for my 408, I encountered this issue too. Resetting the oil light is quite simple, no need to rush to the shop.
