How to reset the maintenance wrench on the 2020 Tiggo 8?

Insert the car key into the ignition switch and hold down the small black lever on the dashboard. Wait for the self-check to complete, then release the pressed small black lever. Start the engine normally, and the maintenance reminder will be reset.
I've also driven the Tiggo 8 and encountered the issue of the maintenance wrench light being on. Actually, it's quite simple to reset. First, sit in the car without starting the engine, just turn the key to the ON position, and the dashboard will light up displaying all icons. Then locate the small button on the steering wheel or near the dashboard—some versions might require holding the trip reset button or menu button—and keep it pressed. After about a few seconds, the wrench icon will either blink or disappear, at which point you can release the button and it's done. If it doesn’t work the first time, try repeating the process a few times. I did this myself after the April maintenance and successfully cleared the reminder. But don’t think that resetting means everything’s fine—this wrench is there to remind you to change the oil regularly, check the brakes, etc. Neglecting timely maintenance could lead to serious car issues. Always pay attention to the dashboard while driving and schedule regular health checks for your car to avoid major problems down the line, which can save you a lot on repair costs.
