How to reset the maintenance reminder on the Ford Kuga center console?

Press and hold the reset button "A" while stepping on the brake, and at the same time turn the ignition switch to ON (note: do not start the car). At this point, you should see the display screen flashing or showing the characters "INSP". Continue holding the reset button A without releasing it. Wait until the display shows "..." before releasing the reset button "A". Release the brake and turn the ignition switch back to "OFF" to complete the reset process.
I encountered the maintenance reminder light while driving my Ford Kuga and found it quite annoying. A friend told me it can be turned off manually: Insert the key, turn it to the ON position without starting the engine, wait for all dashboard lights to illuminate, then immediately press and hold the OK button on the right side of the steering wheel for about 6 seconds. A setup menu will pop up on the screen—use the directional buttons to navigate to 'Maintenance Info,' select 'Reset Maintenance Reminder,' and confirm. The whole process takes just a minute or two, super convenient. If it doesn’t work, it might be due to an aging battery or loose wiring—check the manual or visit a repair shop. The maintenance reminder is there to prompt timely servicing, so don’t skip oil changes or inspections after turning it off, as regular maintenance extends your car’s lifespan and saves repair costs. A well-maintained car runs smoother and is much safer, especially on long trips.
