How to Reset the Maintenance Reminder on a Skoda?

Press and hold the "Reset Knob" on the dashboard with your left hand. While still holding the "Reset Knob" with your left hand, turn on the ignition with your right hand. Turn the "Reset Knob" to the right (rotate the knob clockwise). Restart the engine and check if the maintenance light has been reset.
Last time I did the maintenance reset on my own Skoda, it really gave me a hard time. The car's warning light kept beeping, and I had to manually reset it. The basic steps are: first turn the key to the ignition position without starting the engine; find the '0.0' button or odometer button on the dashboard, press and hold it firmly; then turn off the power and turn it back on, wait a few seconds, and the warning light will flash a few times and then turn off, completing the reset. However, the steps vary greatly between different Skoda models. For example, my old Octavia was straightforward, but my friend's new Superb required using the steering wheel buttons as well, and it took several attempts to succeed. Important reminder: always ensure the car is stationary before performing the operation, never do it while driving to avoid accidents; the reset only turns off the reminder and doesn't mean you can skip maintenance, so don’t slack off when it’s time to change the oil or check components. I think doing it yourself is quite convenient and saves a trip to the dealership and money. I recommend beginners to first look for video tutorials online and practice before trying it themselves.
