How to reset the maintenance reminder for the Soueast DX7?

With the engine turned off, press and hold the trip odometer reset button located below the tachometer. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, then release the trip odometer reset button. A service indicator will appear on the display. Pull out the minute button on the clock and rotate it clockwise. The odometer reading will appear on the display. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position again, and the service indicator will disappear.
Having driven the Southeast DX7 for so many years, I find the maintenance reminder reset quite simple. First, sit in the car without starting the engine—just turn the key to the power-on position. Then locate the button near the steering wheel to navigate the dashboard menu to the settings section and enter the maintenance options. Usually, there's a reset button—just press to confirm. If it doesn’t respond, try a few more times or check the owner’s manual, as the steps may vary slightly across different model years. Once reset, the wrench icon will disappear. This reminder is set for every 5,000 km of maintenance—if not cleared, it keeps nagging, but don’t force a reset; it’s safer to do so after actual servicing. Skipping timely maintenance can lead to engine carbon buildup and costly repairs, so regular upkeep ensures smooth driving.
