Locate the rearview mirror switch area on the inner side of the driver's door panel. The two switches above the rearview mirror operation switch area control the left and right rearview mirrors. The two switches below, the left one is used to control the window up and down. Press the rearview mirror folding button once.

I've been driving my 2020 Bora for almost a year now, and I always reset the service reminder myself after maintenance. The steps are super simple: After getting in the car, turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine. When the dashboard lights up, it means it's ready. Then, use the multifunction button on the left side of the steering wheel to slowly scroll and find the 'Settings' menu. After selecting it, there's a 'Maintenance' option inside. Click into it and you'll see 'Reset Service Reminder.' Just press and hold the confirm button for about five seconds, and it will reset to zero. After completing the process, drive around to check that the reminder is gone to confirm success. If the operation isn't done properly, the reminder will pop up again, which is really annoying. I recommend resetting it promptly after regular maintenance; otherwise, it might affect your driving records. Remember not to skip steps—follow the sequence carefully, and you'll be fine.

To reset the maintenance reminder for the 2020 Volkswagen Bora, I often help friends with it. First, ensure the vehicle is turned off and the key is turned to the ACC position without starting the engine. Then, using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, navigate to the 'Vehicle Information' or 'Service' submenu in the instrument cluster menu. Select the maintenance reset option and hold the OK button until you hear a beep. The key is to perform the steps smoothly without interruption. After resetting, it's recommended to drive for a few minutes to check if the reminder disappears. If unsuccessful, it might be an electrical issue—consult the manual or visit a dealership. Resetting the maintenance reminder is crucial as it helps track the next service, ensuring no critical points are missed and the vehicle remains safe to use.

Just got my hands on the 2020 Bora and learned how to reset the maintenance reminder. Sit in the car, turn the key to ON position but don't press the accelerator to start the engine. Use the steering wheel buttons to scroll down to the Service option in the Settings menu, select Reset, then confirm by holding for a few seconds until you hear a beep - the operation is quite simple. Note: After resetting, drive a bit to check if the reminder disappears. Regular resetting helps manage maintenance cycles - don't delay to ensure proper vehicle operation. Safety first.

What are the reasons for high engine coolant temperature?

Engine coolant temperature may be high due to the following reasons: Dirty or clogged radiator surface or interior: When the radiator surface is dirty or the interior is clogged, it affects the radiator's heat dissipation or the coolant circulation, which in turn affects heat dissipation. Solution: Clean the radiator if the surface is dirty; if the interior is clogged, it is recommended to replace the radiator. Thermostat failure: If the thermostat is damaged and remains closed, the engine coolant will be in a small circulation loop, preventing the coolant in the radiator from participating in the circulation and heat dissipation. This causes the coolant temperature to be high when the vehicle is idling or driving at low speeds, and the temperature rises further as the speed increases. Solution: It is recommended to replace the thermostat. Water pump failure: The water pump is the power source for coolant circulation. If the water pump is damaged, the coolant cannot circulate for heat dissipation, leading to an increase in coolant temperature. Solution: It is recommended to replace the water pump.

Are Driving and Passenger Insurance the Same as Seat Insurance?

Driving and passenger insurance is not the same as seat insurance. Driving and passenger insurance follows the person, not the vehicle, whereas seat insurance follows the vehicle, not the person. Generally, driving and passenger insurance has higher premiums and broader coverage. The differences between purchasing driving and passenger insurance and seat insurance are as follows: 1. Coverage differs: Driving and passenger insurance covers the person, not the vehicle—meaning the policyholder will receive compensation regardless of which vehicle they are driving in case of an accident (exclusions apply). Seat insurance covers the vehicle, not the person—meaning compensation is provided for any accident involving the insured vehicle, regardless of who is driving or riding in it. 2. Types differ: Driving and passenger insurance is a type of accidental injury insurance for drivers and passengers, while seat insurance is a liability insurance.

Why Does a Motorcycle Sound Like a Tractor?
