How to Reset the Maintenance Reminder for Chery Ant?
2 Answers
Turn off the car's engine, and after the engine is off, press and hold the reset button. While holding the reset button, insert the key to start the engine. After the vehicle starts, release the reset button and briefly press the clock adjustment button once. At this point, the maintenance cycle light will display in reset mode for a few seconds. After the reset is complete, you can check the interval mileage until the next maintenance by pressing the clock adjustment button four times.
Last time I helped my young neighbor with his Ant's maintenance light, I even checked the manual. The key is in the button area on the left side of the steering wheel: First turn off the power, then hold down the TRIP button without releasing, while using the other hand to turn the key to power on (no need to start the engine). Wait until all icons on the dashboard finish flashing, and a wrench symbol countdown appears—that's when you immediately release the button. Remember, the operation needs to be continuous; if you're too slow, you'll have to start over. By the way, if the car has a central control screen, after clearing the light, remember to check if the mileage reminder on the screen has been reset. I've seen several cars where the dashboard light went off but the screen was still prompting.
