How to Reset the Maintenance Light on the 2020 GAC Honda Lingpai?

Turn off the ignition switch to shut down the engine, locate the menu toggle button on the steering wheel, and hold it down. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position while continuing to press the menu toggle button. After the self-check is completed, in about 5 seconds, the maintenance light will be reset.
I also encountered this issue when driving my 2020 GAC Honda Lingpai, and later figured out the steps to reset the maintenance light myself. First, turn off the car and ensure the engine is off; then press and hold the TRIP button on the dashboard without releasing it; next, turn the key to the ON position, but don't start the car—just power up the dashboard; continue holding the TRIP button, and within a few seconds, the maintenance light will blink once and then turn off, indicating the reset is complete; finally, release the button and turn off the key. This process is very simple and suitable for DIY by car owners, saving a trip to the dealership. The maintenance light exists to remind you to change the oil or perform inspections regularly, usually lighting up every 5,000 kilometers. Ignoring it might affect the car's performance, such as increased engine noise or higher fuel consumption, so I recommend sticking to the maintenance schedule to keep the car in good condition and avoid unexpected expenses. Doing it yourself takes just a minute or two and also helps you learn a bit about cars.
