How to reset the maintenance light on Dongfeng Honda?

Turn the CR-V's power switch to the ON position; continuously press the function button until the maintenance message appears on the display, then press the Enter button. Next, the engine oil monitor will appear on the screen. Finally, hold down the Enter button for about 10 seconds, and the maintenance light will be reset.
Last time the maintenance light on my Dongfeng Honda CR-V came on, I went to the 4S shop to ask about it. Turns out they taught me how to reset it myself, saving me quite a bit of money. Here's the method: First, turn off the engine completely and switch off the ignition. Then locate the Trip button on the dashboard (most Dongfeng Honda models are the same), and hold it down. Next, turn the key to the ACC position, which means only the dashboard lights come on but the engine doesn't start. Keep holding the button for about five to ten seconds, and you'll see the light blink and then go off. At this point, you can release the button and turn off the power. After resetting, it's best to start the car again to confirm the light doesn't come back on. I think this is very simple, saves money and is convenient. Don't ignore the light reminder for too long like I did at first, as it can easily lead to engine wear. Remember to make sure you've just completed maintenance before resetting, otherwise if the light goes off but you forget to change the oil, you could be in big trouble. Take your time when doing it yourself, don't rush, to avoid pressing the wrong button and affecting other systems.
