How to reset the maintenance light on Changan Suzuki?

Changan Suzuki's maintenance light reset procedure consists of four steps: 1. Turn on the ignition switch and briefly press the right-side information display selector handle. 2. Press and hold the left-side odometer button for more than 5 seconds until the oil lock indicator appears on the display, then release the button. The display area will show the oil lock. 3. After completing step two, release the button and press it five times consecutively within 2 seconds. This operation must be completed within 3 seconds. 4. The "oil lock" will turn off, and "SUCCESSFUL" will be displayed, indicating the reset operation is complete. The purpose of car maintenance is to keep the vehicle clean and tidy, maintain normal technical conditions, eliminate potential hazards, prevent faults, slow down the deterioration process, and extend the service life.
I encountered this issue during my last car service and called the after-sales service directly to find the solution. First, turn off the ignition switch, then locate the small reset button on the left side of the steering wheel and hold it down. Next, use your other hand to turn the key to the ON position—this means the dashboard lights up but the engine doesn’t start. Keep an eye on the dashboard; after about ten seconds, the small wrench indicator light will start flashing. Wait until it completely goes out before releasing the button. The whole process should be steady, and the timing shouldn’t be too short. Finally, turn off the key and restart the car—the light should disappear.
