Last time my 718 maintenance light came on and it took me quite a while to figure it out, but actually it's not as complicated as imagined. First, power on the car without starting the engine, then hold down the return button on the steering wheel. When the maintenance menu pops up on the dashboard, use the left/right steering wheel buttons to navigate to the reset option, and press the confirm button for about three seconds. However, note that older models might require pressing the ODO reset button after powering on to reset.
