Here are the steps to reset the light on a new Iveco: 1. First, insert the vehicle key and start the engine. 2. Press the button on the right side of the dashboard, at which point the maintenance light will blink. 3. Press the button on the left side of the dashboard repeatedly. 4. Continue until the bottom line of the dashboard displays a negative number, then hold down the right button. 5. Keep holding until the negative number on the bottom line changes to 5000, then exit to reset the maintenance light. Additional Information: 1. Not all vehicles are equipped with a maintenance light function. Vehicles that have this feature are pre-set by the manufacturer with a specific mileage threshold; once this threshold is reached, the "wrench" symbol will appear. 2. Resetting the maintenance light involves clearing the reminder message after servicing, essentially performing an information reset.

I've driven trucks for fifteen years and reset the light several times. The most common method is the button combination: with the engine off, press and hold the trip reset button on the dashboard, then turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine. Keep holding until the wrench icon flashes, then release and quickly press the same button. Last time, my Iveco Daily was reset this way. However, newer models have switched to menu operations, requiring entering the engineering mode via steering wheel buttons. If all else fails, disconnecting the negative battery terminal for five minutes can force a reset, though it'll lock the radio frequencies which is quite troublesome.
