Turn off the ignition switch. Press the trip meter reset button on the dashboard. Then turn on the ignition switch again and continue to hold down the trip meter reset button on the dashboard. When the display shows 0000.0, release the button immediately to complete the maintenance light reset.
I remember resetting the maintenance light on my 2019 Honda Lingpai 1.0t was quite simple last time. The method was to insert the key without starting the engine, just turn it to the ON position to illuminate the dashboard, locate and hold down the TRIP button on the dashboard for about 5 to 10 seconds. The maintenance indicator light will blink a few times and then turn off completely, at which point you can release the button and it's done. When doing it yourself, it's best to be in a well-lit area to clearly see the changes in the indicator light. Resetting the maintenance light helps avoid false alarms and ensures the accuracy of the next maintenance cycle, which is especially important for small-displacement engines like the 1.0t. Regular maintenance can extend the engine's life, save fuel, and reduce costs. I've been keeping a maintenance log since the car was new, developing good habits for peace of mind and safety.
