How to Reset the Honda Civic Tire Pressure Light?

1. For models without a central control screen: Locate the tire pressure reset button among the three buttons on the lower left side of the steering wheel, marked with an exclamation point symbol. Press the reset button to turn off the tire pressure light. 2. For models equipped with a central control screen: Park the vehicle and shift into P (Park). Navigate to the vehicle menu on the central control screen, select the settings menu, then choose the tire pressure monitoring option, select calibrate, and click confirm. The tire pressure light will then be reset. The tire pressure monitoring indicator is a yellow symbol featuring an irregular circle without a seal mark, with four small spikes at the bottom and an exclamation point inside. The illumination of this indicator signifies abnormal tire pressure. Abnormal tire pressure is generally caused by one of the following three reasons: Abnormal tire pressure: The system typically alerts when the pressure is below 1.8 bar or above 3.0 bar. In such cases, the tires should be inspected and the pressure adjusted accordingly. Tire pressure monitoring not reset: After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure is not reset promptly, the tire pressure monitoring system will continue to display the previously recorded data, causing the tire pressure monitoring indicator to illuminate. Simply performing a tire pressure reset will resolve this issue. Damaged tire pressure sensor: The tire pressure sensor, which monitors tire pressure, is installed inside the tire and connected to the tire inflation valve. If the sensor is damaged due to impact while driving, the tire pressure warning light will activate. In the event of sensor damage, the only solution is to replace it with a new component.
