How to reset the deactivated Porsche TPMS?

Press the MENU button, select TIREPRESST (Tire Pressure), and press the OK button. Select the Settings option. Select "Tyres" - choose "Winter" tires and select "Sealingset". Start the vehicle, drive for a few minutes, when the dashboard prompts, select "Yes" to successfully set the tire pressure.
I recently helped a friend with his Porsche and also encountered the TPMS deactivation issue. The reset process is actually quite straightforward: First, sit in the driver's seat, insert the key but don't start the engine (for keyless start, press the start button without stepping on the brake). Then access the menu button on the multifunction steering wheel, navigate to the "Vehicle Settings" or "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" option, where you'll find a "Reinitialize" or "Reset" button—click it to begin the reset. After resetting, drive for about ten minutes to allow the system to calibrate. Remember, when parked, ensure all tire pressures are correct by checking with a tire pressure gauge. Porsche sensors are prone to issues from vibration or battery aging; if the problem persists after reset, it might be time to replace the sensor. Checking the tires every three months can prevent future problems. With high-performance cars like these, safety comes first—I always believe regular maintenance can prevent many unexpected issues.
